Challenges associated with truck parking are issues identified by each of the North/West Passage member states. As identified through previous North/West Passage research – including the recently completed Truck Travel Times and Hours-of-Service Needs Assessment – truck parking issues cannot be addressed by a single state on its own. Collaboration among the North/West Passage states and with the private sector is one way that has been identified for the North/West Passage to improve truck parking throughout the corridor.
